Sunday, July 13th, 2014 – This morning when we work up on the Prinsendam we were docked at the port in Holland. We had just completed a wonderful cruise around Norway and into the Polar Ice Cap. However, it wasn't the end of the line for us. Later this afternoon the Prinsendam will be leaving to go around Ireland with stops in England and France – and we are going to be on it!

The ship was only in port for part of the day and we would be returning h to this port after the next cruise. Rather than try to get out and sight-see for five or six hours, we decided to hold off until the ship returned in a couple weeks and then take a couple days to see Holland. Instead we went into the cruise terminal where there was a café upstairs with a good strong internet signal. After a couple hours catching up with email and Facebook we boarded the ship again and got ready for the next portion of our voyage.

Monday, July 14th, 2014 – Quiet day at sea. On earlier cruises I was bored on sea days;
now the more peaceful and quiet they are, the more I enjoy them!
