Take a 12 x 6 card...and fold at 4 1/2" and again at 9"....leaving 3" flap. With that flap, cut 1" x 1" square from the top and bottom to create a section that was 4" wide. On this flap I covered it with a contrasting paper (here I used wall paper....and also die cut a butterfly in the same paper to create a flow in colour.)
