Journaling reads: While in New Orleans for Derrick's friend's wedding; he and I decided to visit Café Du Monde to have beignets (squares of fried dough eaten hot sprinkled with confectioner's sugar) and mugs of café au laits (French for "coffee with milk" Derrick teased that beignets was just a fancy word for "funnel cakes." Definitely a sugar overload, but I enjoyed the coffee." I bought the cute little coffee stickers from my local Dollar Tree and just had to use them on this layout.
