Oh the butterscotch soda sounds really sweet. Sometimes touristy is a lot of fun. I wonder what those cool markers are for. They look like the ladies they put on ships. I am really loving Salem.
We found a little street with souvenir shops and magic shops along the sidewalk. It was obvious that Harry Potter was a big influence here! One little shop sold Butterscotch beer, which was a non-alcoholic carbonated drink and tasted a lot like cream soda. I can't read the entire label on the bottle but the name of it is something cauldron.
The pictures to the left and right are attached to the streetlights around Salem. I don't know how many different ones there were. Not many of my pictures of them turned out well because most were taken from a moving trolley.
We were really enjoying our day in Salem. It was more touristy than I remembered but that was okay with me - I was having a great time.
Except that my stomach was rumbling. We had a couple Dunkin' Donuts in Boston this morning and that is all we had eaten all day.
Time to find someplace for lunch - and we wanted seafood!
