I love this so much! The way you colored and arranged the leaves is soo beautiful and it really does remind me of spending the day playing out in the leaves! Love the bit of gold peeking out too!
I love this! I love the way you blended the inks to make the paper for cutting out leaves. The little water droplets make it that much more realistic. I love the way they curl like real fall leaves. Those are beautiful dies! The glittery sentiment is perfect with the three layers of paper cardstock and the glitter paper. They stand out from the leaves and really shine. Love your glitter mat and the use of the stitched dies. Such a beautiful fall card!
Great ombre look to the leaves, I love fall also. I was outside in the sunshine today and it felt wonderful Every day of sunshine and warmth in the fall is precious because here in the midwest we know what is coming. You captured the lovely colors of the fall leaves which are a stunning display of nature' s beauty. As always, you inspire
Fall is my favorite season. I love the gorgeous, rich colors of the leaves and the beautiful, crisp weather. When I came across a Distress ink color blend by Bianca - at https://thecoloursofmagic.wordpress.com/- I knew that I wanted to try it to use on a fall card. She blended Fired Brick, Rusty Hinge and Fossilized Amber. I did the same and added Aged Mahogany to the edge of red end and Peeled Paint to the edge of the yellow end. I let my panel dry, then spritzed it with water and blotted it with a paper towel to get a splattered look. Next, I ran the piece through my die cut machine several times to cut out various leaves. I used my small stitched leaves dies by Lawn Fawn. I also cut a stitched rectangle out of Chocolate Chip colored cardstock by Doodlebug design. I placed the negative cut panel over top of my dark brown piece to create a template of sorts which would make placing the leaves easier. I used double sided tape to attach my leaves that I had shaped a bit to add some dimension. Once all the leaves were added, I removed the 'template'. I then die cut 3 sets of my sentiment from kraft cardstock and one set from gold glitter cardstock and adhered all the layers together before adding it to my card. A gold glitter mat finishes it off.
Thank you so very much for your kindness and encouragement! It really means a lot!
