I have been making a lot of cards lately... most especially because I've become addicted to a couple of challenges here at SB.com (Monthly Inspirational Card Challenge and the Monthly Sketch Challenge to be specific), but also because my family and friends seem to like receiving them. I found the kit for this box at my LSS and bought it. It was intended to be used for recipes cards, but of course I thought it could help me organize my card creations. Thankfully, it came with a detailed video and chipboard pieces that had already been cut out for me. To make it, I needed a paper pack that was at least 8 x 8. Graphic 45's Fairie Dust 8 x 8 pack was my choice. I then had to find a cardstock to cover the edges of the box with... Bazzil's Deep Sea went nicely. I also used Bazzil's Jubilee was used in places such as the bottom part. And Moxxie's Pink/Purple sheets worked well as a divider backers.

There are only ten dividers so I had to double up on some of the slower months. I chose to combine March and April and August and September because I have fewer birthdays etc in those months in general. Each dividers has a pocket in the middle. In that pocket, I put a tab insert that included the names and dates of birthdays and anniversaries and celebrations that come up every year. Also, along the bottom of the dividers is a second pocket that will be used for production notes and reminders as needed or for extra events that only occur in that specific year.
