Jan 2007 Sketches Challenge, sketch #19
Mom had never been over to SF to see the new ballpark, so in March 2003 I took her to a Giants game. She was so cute, dressed in her orange and black to support the home team. She has always been like that. I love that about her. I know she is the reason I love baseball.

The journaling says: Mom had never been to the
new Giants ballpark, Pac Bell. She asked me if we could go to a game, so I took off one afternoon during the week in March 2003 and we took BART
and Muni over to the ballpark. She was dressed in the team colors and looked the avid fan standing in front of the Willie Mays statue in front. No wonder I love baseball, with a mom like her.
We had such a good time that day. She got to see Barry Bonds at bat, we sang “America the Beautiful” during 7th inning stretch and ate hot dogs. We walked all around the beautiful
park. We even went to the back and walked along McCovey Cove.
