The 15-year-old boy that my husband mentors cut his hand, so I made this card for him. He took apart 2 knives, and used the blades and a curtain rod to make a spear. If that wasn't bad enough, he hung the spear on his bedroom wall with push pins. The spear fell. He grabbed for it, and cut his finger and thumb. The sentiment reads,,,Remember when don't do it again!
I made the blades with die cuts, adhesive tape, and gilding flakes. The "curtain rod" handle is a plastic straw with silver paint. I made use of the hand dies that came in my August Hero Arts kit.
this card is graphic, but will hopefully remind him not to do this kind of thing again.
