Keep Calm and Get Your Craft On

Last year, when we went on Covid-19 lock-down, I decided to make lemonade with lemons and really got my craft on!! I started with a scrapbook of my grandson's first year, times 3, one for me, my daughter and her mother-in-law. What a joy. My lock-down crafting also included cross-stitching a Christmas stocking(not done yet!!) painting rooms in my daughter and SIL's new home and making curtains for said rooms, building an 8'x4' raised bed garden, sewing masks...of course...painting rocks for Valentine's Day (who knew there were so many heart shaped rocks!) and many other projects.

I use the Carta Bella Craft & Create collection, soooo much fun!! Every Crafter should have this paper collection!!

My friend and creative hero, Andrea Sherman, a Close to My Heart consultant, has super powers in designing layouts. She does an amazing job with flip flaps. I always have too many photos and love the ability to add a few more via 6x4 flip flaps. Andrea designed a layout using 4 12x6 flip flaps, so essentially 6 pages. BRILLIANT!! So many pictures and still room for journaling and ephemera!! Check out her videos on Youtube.
