firstly I would like to say a big big thank you to Jay for putting together a fabulous kit but mostly for choosing me as part of her design team this time
For this layout I first choose the picture to go behind the transparency. I then chose the background paper, I picked the plain red because there is so much detail on the transparency it would have got lost if I had used patterned paper.
I cut a strip of BASIC grey romance and placed it down the left hand side. I used two strips of eternity above and below the photo to break up the background colour .
then I placed the transparency over the top. it is held in place by 3 Karen foster metal photo corners the only thing I used not in the kit . I inked the chipboard heart with the brilliance ink pad. I then used a black pen to draw over some of the white lines to high light the word cherish
