I watched a youtube video that inspired this card. I can't for the life of me find that video to reference here. It's so simple I probably didn't bookmark it. You need a stamping platform, like a Misti. You also need a trellis die. This one is the one used on the video and I found it on Amazon. I love the double stitching. A large floral stamp is ideal, but any large stamp will work. I cut two 4 1/4"x 5 1/2" panels from heavyweight cardstock. Using my Misti, I stamped the same image on each one. I die cut one of them with the trellis die. I layered them together with 1/8" foam tape. Then it was just a matter of matting the panel onto blue cardstock and mounting it on a white card base. A stamped sentiment embossed with copper embossing powder and a few rose gold sequins and the card was done. The inside was made with a similar stamp that I thought went well with the design. This card could be used for many occasions like a birthday, a get well card or a sympathy card. I'm going to try this technique with a digital clip art image as the video presenter suggested. UPDATE: The YouTube video that inspired this card was posted by Ann Melvin from Positively Papercraft. Take a look at other cards she made using this technique.
