A lot of time with scissors and an exacto-knife! I traced the outside of the scallop from a bazzill decorative-edge cardstock on both the dk. blue and the brown pp. Then I traced in and cut out the swirls, and keept about a quarter of an inch border to frame the page. Leaving about an eighth inch past the trace line, I cut out the brown paper to end just underneath the dark blue border. The real hard part was tacking down the now flimsy cut-outs in the right place…yikes! To add some dimension, I inked the edges of the swirls and journaling strips and used a lot of pop-dots!
