i love this pic of my ds looking out onto the rink. it wasn't the first time he was on skates, but it was only a couple of weeks after. it was 1998, he was 4 years old. he loved it so we signed him up for "learn to skate" and then "learn to play". three months later at 5 years old my dh came home and said he was going to be on the in-house team. i didn't even know they had hockey teams for 5 year olds. i'm not doing any journaling on the pages, there's not much to say about each individual pic, but i think i will do one full page of journaling for the book so he will have his "hockey history" documented. i wanted to do the album in white, but it's not turning out that way. tfl
