Awww. You really captured the moment here. The colors and lettering a just perfect and I love the sentiments, too. She is so precious - and I love the way you so gently handled this difficult moment.
oh... another GREAT jouranling page!! i love the last line that sums up the face. it seems so silly to us as adults, but i feel quite certain it's kind of the same feeling i get when it's time to cook dinner even when all i want to do is scrap! HA!!! maybe i should revert back to this pout... i wonder if it will work. ;) great colors here and love all the details!

You know what's funny? when I first saw this in the gallery I would never thought this was yours! I'm not use to this all pink lo from you! LOL But when I looked better it is absolutely yours! love the design and the stitches.. and ofcourse the paper! beautiful... great quote with the pic!
so i am just looking through pics from the last 2 days and this one just stands out....................... I almost laughed when I turned around and saw you sitting along the sidewalk this way. Poor baby girl, I guess as I sit here tonight and reflect on this look of distain on your face I really begin to remember life at 5, life as a child, not understanding why things were the way they were. I need to remember more often, because it might help me be a better mommy. But I truly hope that in the years to come the saddness or frustrations will be outnumbered by the memories filled with laughter and joy. I take to heart so strongly my role as a mommy that I pray each and every day for God to help me in this role, help me be balanced and strong,, patient and loving. I am responsible to teach you and love you and help you grow into who you are to be, thats a pretty big deal. So as we are on this journey together I will try my best to minimize these moments and to help you understand that they are sometimes apart of life, perhaps I can help you learn to get over them a little faster. Because there will be those days when its just time to go in for dinner even when you want to ride your bike.
