ItsInTheBAG [SUAS wk6]

Looking back, I think I just ran out of creative juices when it came to week 6...I ended up drawing inspiration from an article in ShopSmart magazine, basically scraplifted the LO and images 1-5 for this entry.

What will your next fashion statement be? I choose to make mine green.
Lately, with Christmas just around the corner & my birthday in January, I have been feverishly adding to my Kaboodle wish list. I’ve been narrowing down my choices: Canon or Nikon? Coach or Dooney? But I’ve recently made a stand on something very ordinary. Paper or Plastic?
And I’ve chosen neither. I choose reuse. It’s really not an inconvenience at all, once you make the switch. Even though I haven’t seen anyone else at the local grocery store using these reusable bags yet. Maybe they shop at different times than I do. I still feel like I’m making the best statement by choosing not to add more plastic bags to the landfills. There are many green choices to make and this is one that’s become part of my ordinary life.

6. Local grocery store reusable bags I keep a stash of them on my passenger side seat or inside the trunk of my car, so that they’re always handy when I make those impromptu trips to the store. This also eliminates that excuse that “I forgot to bring them.” I like that they are comfortable to carry over my shoulders or in my hand. You don’t get pinched or off balance like when carrying handfuls of plastic bags. Not to mention the little bit that it adds to my weekly exercise regimen.
