Page 6: On the trail again about two miles into it. A while later, we stopped to set up camp. We made it!
(Okay, the 2nd sentence is mine because it could not be deciphered from the water damage. But I know my mom, and this is what she would have said. :D )
Early 1980, my parents went on a backpacking trip, where my dad proposed. My dad took TONS of photos, and my mom put them in an album and journaled just about EVERY picture (thank you, MOM)! Water got to the album and ruined a bunch of the journaling. So I'm deciphering it all and making this album as an anniversary gift. All titles and journaling are my mom's!
Keeping it clean and simple with little embellishments (these pages feel naked to me... LOL), but that's my dad's style so that's what I'm going for. :)
