Captain Fantastic

This is a LO of a photo that I took at the 2nd Elton John concert I've been to (I've been to a total of 3...so far). I finally used one of the Hambly Overlays Lascrap sent me. I also used the new KI Memories lace paper. LOVE IT. Even though it's a bit hard to glue down :D

Journaling reads: "On April 26, 2001, my best friend Laura and I went to see Elton John in concert. It was an amazing night. This was the closest I had ever been to Elton: our seats were ON THE FLOOR! We got there early to try and see if we could find him, or at least his bus, before the show. We walked the entire perimeter of Freedom Hall--TWICE! but were too chicken to see who the buses belonged to. Finally, we went in with the scrapbook I had made for Elton, the letter I had written him, and the white chocolate Hugs we bought for David so he wouldn't feel left out. During my favorite song, "Someone Saved My Life Tonight", I went closer and was able to take this pic. After the show ended we found a guard who said he'd try and get the stuff to Elton. To this day I don't know if he ever did."
