May 05 - This is back when I was still in the Air Force. I've always wanted to scrap these pics but, I could never come up with a LO. ALS is Airman Leadership School; it's a mandatory class you have to take before you can pin on SSgt. It's about a 6 week course. Well when I was told that I had to take the class I was a little disappointed, because we had 3 kids (my daughter wasn't born yet) and my husband was also active duty Air Force, so I didn't think that I would be able to do very well. When my husband was in ALS it took up a lot of his time and I just didn't have any extra time. Anyway, it all worked out, my husband was very supportive and helped more with the kids and made dinner more often and in the end I ended up getting the Levitow Award (which is the best award you can get). So, I guess you can say that was one of my greatest achievements :)
Thanks for spreading positivity!
