Description: Every since I was a child, I have had a love for certain time periods-most are times of social change or major events in history. One of my favorite periods is the Renaissance/Tudor era. I love the books historical fiction, non-fiction and of course the movie "Anne of a Thousand Days". Call me a romantic if you like. I have wanted to start a book on the Renaissance/Tudor era. One of my weaknesses is the Boleyn family and courtier history. I also have a fascination for many of the other courtier's family who served at the Court of Henry VIII. So, I decided to start a book on the time period. This is my first layout/page(s) of the series. I started with an old book, inked and dry pastel the pages, next started by adding the sheet music “Green sleeves” for all those who love a great mystery-"the long debate did Henry VIII write this for Anne Boleyn or was it written later by another about a prostitute" I then added a copy of a love letter written by Henry VIII to Anne Boleyn. Added the embellies-all mostly cut with" cricuts new cartridge-“Storybook”-love this new item" I proceeded to Ink, chalk, emboss, doodle then added the photos. YES, Oh course, I had to make Anne's signature piece the "B" necklace. This is the first time in a LONG while I have liked the end result of layout that I created. I am excited to finish the book.

I'm a history buff too! Or I used to be. Love how you got all of the memories and blended them together so well, so that each can be reviewed. It reminds me of "snapshots" one takes in the mind and remembers ..to way back, KWIM? Each peace you placed has significance and of course, you did it so well! I have to put this in my FAVES! You are really a powerful thought-provoking artist!
