Every since I was a child, I have had a love for certain time periods-most are times of social change or major events in history. One of my favorite periods is the Renaissance/Tudor era. I love the books historical fiction, non-fiction and of course the movie "Anne of a Thousand Days". Call me a romantic if you like. I have wanted to start a book on the Renaissance/Tudor era. One of my weaknesses is the Boleyn family and courtier history. I also have a fascination for many of the other courtier's family who served at the Court of Henry VIII. So, I decided to start a book on the time period. This is my first layout/page(s) of the series. I started with an old book, inked and dry pastel the pages, next started by adding the sheet music “Green sleeves” for all those who love a great mystery-"the long debate did Henry VIII write this for Anne Boleyn or was it written later by another about a prostitute" I then added a copy of a love letter written by Henry VIII to Anne Boleyn. Added the embellies-all mostly cut with" cricuts new cartridge-“Storybook”-love this new item" I proceeded to Ink, chalk, emboss, doodle then added the photos. YES, Oh course, I had to make Anne's signature piece the "B" necklace. This is the first time in a LONG while I have liked the end result of layout that I created. I am excited to finish the book.
