Description: My maternal grandparents. My middle name is Grace after this grandmother, the Belle comes from my Great-Grandmother on my dad's side.
These are scans of my mother's Ivora Miniatures she had done many years ago. As I understand it, the Italian artist that would come into G Fox iin Hartford would add things to the pictures by painting them on..........I can't pretend to understand how these were made, but I do know that the dress my grandmother is wearing never existed, my mother described a dress my grandmother always wanted but could never buy and the artist painted it on her. My grandfather's picture was only his head and mother says that the artist assumed Jack must be at least as big as Grace so painted him broad shouldered and tall, when in fact he was a little shorter than my grandmother LOL!! These little picures (that I scanned) were actually about 3x5.

Done for Jenni's Cosmo Cricket challenge.
