Give a Cheer
The palm tree and sand are simply torn from paper just to give it a rough effect. By tearing the paper at their feet, I made them appear to be walking in the water. Notice I kept the shadow; unfortunately, you see exactly where the photo ends because my son has no head. I've now added another bucket in the sane where his head should be. I also tore out the tan paper (or sand) at their hands in knees to make it seem like those parts are buried in the sand. Floating in the water is a stencil style boat used as a mat.
