SHCG: Great job! These are great pics and the colors in the pp really compliment them. I'd like to see them stand out more though. I'd mat them in some dark blue cs to help them lift from the pp. Also, the date feels awkward to me; I'd reduce it until it fills totally on the solid green paper.

SHCG: the pattern paper and shapes are so very interesting and show off the photos so well. My only question is the stripe strip. It begs for some words.

SHCG: This is so cute ~ I love all the patters and the inking and staples that you used. My suggestions: make the Zoo title bigger then the date and maybe add some journaling about the day. The pictures are really so cute :)

SHCG: Love this!! Great job on all your layering and great colors! I really love the off-center shaped mat. The only thing I might have done is mat the pics in a brighter solid color to make them stand out a bit more from the patterned paper

SHCG: Chris, I have so been there. Not to that zoo, but having only a few salvagable pictures from a trip. It really chaps my hide. I like the sun-like feel that you have created with the star and the papers and that ribbon look like they were made to coordinate, were they? I am so glad that you got to staple. I did it once out of necessity (an old SHCG challenge requiring no adhesives...) and I have been addicted ever since. I love the look. Alright, I would suggest you switch to two smaller pictures so that the taller one is at the top and the smaller one is at the side. I think it would "weight" the layout differently and a little more balanced. Is there anywhere that you could create some hidden journaling about the other pics being a loss? Perhaps in the center of that sun that is hidden behind the big picture? I think that would be a nice addition. This rocks and I am glad that you and your friend had a nice day!

SHCG: I like all the layering on this page, and all the different shapes add such interest. The pps are nicely coordinated, but I think the pics could stand out more if they were matted in a solid color like that cute flower behind the month. I also like the ribbon, but the way it's placed seems to weigh down on the date. I feel like that's a good place for a journaling strip on white cs, for some info as well as a touch of brightness to a page that uses a lot of neutrals. The tearing and all the inking are nice touches. That giraffe pic is sweet, too.

SHCG - Ooh great pp & colors, they really enhance the pics. Nice pic selection too. Love how you layered the papers & the angled placement of the smaller photos. I also like how the pp is placed off center. Tiny thing but I could visualize the bigger pic being placed slightly lower, to also be off center per the rule of thirds. And even though the pics are sort of self explanatory w/ the title & date, I wish there was a line of journaling (about how it's from when you went w/ your friend when she was there for your wedding). Overall, terrific page & design! BTW the staples look great.
