Oh My Gosh, This is just, Beautiful,, I ran out of adjectives, You are aware that my Sonny is Autistic and he as memorized everything about World War II....Many many other thing also, I am going to show this layout to Sonny (Legal Name Long Story) Sonny James.....It is extremely difficult to wrap your head aroung what actually happened...I Cry...I am emotional..it also upsets Sonny, however; as he is Autistic, first off "He is AMAZING...His memorization skills are just incrediable! I did want to mention that whenever he gets emotionally upset when it involves viloence...We U Tube The Muppets...Yes, what 19 year old loves the Muppets??? MY Sonny does and laughing realeases the pain...I just was so touched by this photograph and your STORY MY eyes are welling up!.. It is beautifully arranged...You are blessed with a special gift! wow!! my mom served in wwII---man--my mom is alot older than your mom--oh yeah--my mom turned 80 yesterday---but she tells me stories of it--scarey!! so glad you have this picture--it is so important to know the ones that came before us!

I enlarged this lay out 200% in order to catch all the detail, and to find your grandfather who is hiding in the right hand corner of the photo. Unfortunately, your description needs elaborating on. Were your family members actually on the Lusitania when the Germans bombed her? If so, how did they escape the horror? At least some good came out of that terrible voyage. It finally got us into the war, and although we lost thousands of our patriots, Adolf did NOT become the dictator of the world and the third Riche did NOT last a thousand years! Live Free...Trudy

This is beautiful! And it also touched me as both my father's parents immigrated from Lithuania. I can remember when I was a little girl and they wanted to say something and not have the kids understand, they would speak in Lithuanian. I made a page of the only picture from Lithuania back in May. It's called Family Portrait.
