Sorry you lost your Dad, selling his home and clearing out his things is one of the hardest things a child has to do, no matter what the age. What a darling layout and photo. And what a sweet memory. Scrapping is great therapy. I just lost my dad in Feb 09 and have so many ideas for layouts and as yet just haven't been able to do one. Lots of my favorite photos are on his memorial board and I don't have the heart yet to take it apart. I just found some cool new Websters Pages however and ideas are beginning to brew..... Your layout is kind of an inspiration. Love the title.

I believe we never outgrow wanting to feel the safety found in our parent's arms, or later in life just in their presence, I know I didn't. But it is the happy memories that I believe will one day fill the place where your pain is today. I am glad you found some therapy in creating this beautiful retro LO.
