Yikes - thank G I didn't live in those times -- I'm not that much of a woman! I fish - but that rooster thing -- FORGET it! Love the strips behind the photos - really nice design!
What a great story to go with the photo - so funny! Took me ages to see that 4th flower disguised in the pp! I love this lo - the way it speaks of the fun time so long ago, and the beautiful brown prints you used. Fave!
This is a layout done using a sketch by Beggahuna. It was done for the daily AGC on 3/14 to use 3 items (3 buttons), 4 items (4 flowers) and 1 item (1 journaling ticket on the layout which is in the pocket behind the top picture. I also had to use numbers in the title.
The photos are of my Great Aunt Theo and Great Aunt Gernell with their fishing catches. The journaling tag says: My Aunt Theo used to go fishing with my Uncle John. When asked why she enjoyed fishing so much, she replied that she didn't really like it but she wasn't about to sit at home doing nothing while John went out to have fun! I never saw Aunt Theo fishing but I remember her chopping the head off a rooster, then plucking out all the feathers and cutting it up before frying it for dinner.
