Based on a sketch by Ali Edwards. Journaling reads: It's somewhat easy to figure out how Boo got from “chomp” to her fashionable conehead attire, but what do oven mitts have to do with the equation? Easy…..after corralling Boo into her cage for her last veterinarian visit, and ending up at the ER for a tetanus shot and bandaging, Jen wasn't going to attempt wrestling Boo into a cage again. Terry wasn't taking any chances, either. When Jen got home from work to help Terry catch Boo, she found him chasing Boo around the house with oven mitts! Pretty funny, and it worked. After one daring and successful escape, Boo was placed safely into her cage: No tetanus shot necessary. (Terry's note to self: close and lock the front door of the cage before putting Boo into the top door).
So how did the “chomp” happen? We aren't sure. After leaving the kitties home alone for 3 days, we came home to find Boo with her tail injury. We're guessing that Daisy and Boo got into a fight, or perhaps Boo stupidly laid her tail across Daisy's food dish. We don't put it past Boo to have bitten it herself. She's been chasing her tail for years. Perhaps she finally caught it!
The cone provided hours of entertainment for the family, such as watching Boo get stuck behind furniture that was in her way. It took her a week to realize that backing up was an option. Her attempts to jump through the banister were quite amusing! For the most part, it was a humbling experience for Boo. She was a much nicer kitty with the cone on her head. We were tempted to leave it there!
Jen would feel sorry for Boo, but she doesn't, because you know what Boo? KARMA BITES, BABY!
