Give a Cheer
This is Gullfloss, south Iceland's "Golden Waterfall". It's pretty spectacular. This is a trip I talked about in my last layout, "Dh and Boz". My husband, son and I went with my in-laws, my mom in law always wanted to go there. I think i could live there, its just so beautiful and clean. Tfl and I hope you like this!
The circle frame , i got the idea from Lynn, a handmade frame. I painted it with diff colors of acrylic, then put clear embossing powder on and heated it. I repeated the 2 steps , i wasnt satisified with it the first time. The edges were inked , didnt like that so i painted them gold. Theres lots of rock candy distress stuff here, its hard to see. Its on the alphas and all over. The dragonflies are molding paste. The flowers are paper studio. Theres 2 Prima marble embellies. An earring from my sis on the lower right. The top paper is painted with acrylic in gold, blue, orange and purple, then i put pearlex on in different areas. The butterfly chipboard is painted then used versamark (i think) or i just poured clear embossing power,the chunky type , on it and heated. The dragonfly idea came from a utube i saw where modeling clay was put into a form. I couldnt find a dragonfly form so stamped a piece of watercolor paper and put modeling paste on it, cut it out and painted it.,then put clear embossing powder, chunky, on and heated it.
