I think it's fun! A lot of white space, but not awkward. Kinda works. And the bright splashes of color on the white paper are very bold.

I *know* what you mean about liking a l/o better IRL because my l/o photos always seem to be like that <sigh> I like it from what I can see though, your balance of white space & your using the doodles as an element around the photo. If this is for a band competition & you are thinking you might add, what about a musical element on the page too?

As usual I love your fun color choices. I do agree that the white space needs something. Are you into swirls?? I'm thinking maybe chipboard painted one of your colors with added glitter or bling of some kind?? Maybe start small around the "win" and go bigger out to the white corners??

I'm removing this from the SOY album. I'm not going to enter it. It just isn't the way I want and I don't feel like working with it. I'm going to enter it into the challenges that it applies to. Atleast I got a layout done.

I'm thinking about all the comments. I'm still not sure. I don't want to do solid CS, because it was my goal to only use one piece of background CS. I might make the picture larger. But I think I'm just gonna leave this one as is and not submit it, because it just isn't what I want it to be.

I agree it needs something....maybe just as simple as a bigger photo! because i really love the titling and i don't think it needs many embellies, because the photo has a lot going on, i say just make the photo a bit bigger really, i love the PP you put on it!!! You have really nice to the point layouts and i like that!

i think you need more pics or a bigger pic and maybe a solid color mat to bring the pic out.you just have too much open space and no focus point.

you do have a great eye for color and a very fun take on design, however this layout has so much trapped white space that they eye has no where do relax and take in the layout. Do you have other pics that will support your story on this...maybe adding more pics or some very visiable journaling could help.

Love the way you did the title using different lettering and adding the blig bloom to it. I agree that the matting pp should be larger, but I;m think the bottom pp might be btterr off being replaced by a solid cs with one of the colors from the other pps because there's a lot of color in the pic with all the burgunday shirts. I love the doodling around the pic and in the title too :)

Hmm.. that the picture block and the flower/corner/WIN area are so far apart bothers me - it seems to me that they should be more connected. You could try making the pp area behind the pic larger, making the pic larger or putting a solid color behind it and moving the flower/corner/WIN closer - it appears to be floating. If you do that I'd maybe move the label holder towards the bottom to make a visual triangle.

Humm - I'm not sure it captures what your going for with the layout. I like the fact you used pp. But, with the darker shirts I almost want a darker paper around the photo... I like th focal point of the photo in the bottom right and the way you used a focal left corner. But the volume of top left to volume of bottom right doesn't feel balanced. Like there needs to be a little more to the bottom right.
