Journaling read:

I walked back in to the woods, sat down,
Heard a turkey, moved closer to the sound, sat back
down,
The turkey gobbled again, got up and moved closer.
Used my turkey caller and called again, it gobbled
again
So I got up and moved closer to the sound, sat back
down started calling again - turkey gobbled again
Started pulling my camo head net down. Suddenly a
hen started
walking by, I Stopped. She didn’t see me,
she continued to
walk on. By. I put my head net the rest of the
way on.
Started calling again for about 20 minutes
Started looking around and there HE was right
in front of
Me. I Dropped caller - pulled up gun
HE was standing behind a tree peeping at me
first the left
then the right side trying to find me.
Finally he stepped out from behind the tree -
BOOM
I jumped up, the caller went flying, the
turkey was
Trying. To get away then I ran over and
Jumped on him.

He was 21 pounds

10 inch beard
