This is one of my son's school photos that he had taken with "Smiley", who is in actual fact a "bad guy" posing as the tooth mouse! I got the idea for the layout design from a doodle sketch from Scrapbook Answers (August issue). The journaling behind the photo on the pull-out tab reads: "In Grade 1 your school organised that "Dr Von Tooth & Smiley" come and give the Grade 1's some good dental hygiene advice. A photo session was set up for which the parents had to pay for in advance. Two months went by, and still no photos... - it turns out that "Dr Von Tooth & Smiley" are actually bad guys who go around to schools, have the money collected and photos taken, and then disappear with the kids' money! Fortunately, the school's photographer also took photos, which we eventually got after a long period of time. I really hope these bad guys get caught one day, it's so wrong to let innocent young kids be subjected to such ridiculous crime! Benjamin, at age 7 you still have ALL your baby teeth, I'd love to know when you're going to lose your first tooth??? Look after your teeth, you'll need them for the rest of your life! ~Journaling: 12 August 2007" Thanx for looking!
