Ive seen these holding wine bottles sideways on the "X" racks. The racks slid between the wooden dowels...awesome piece! Goodwill girl after my own heart! LOL!

I bought this at Goodwill ,,It had these wooden rods that ran straight down but My hubby took the saw and cut them off for me.. It is made of some really nice wood and is stamped with napa valley on the side. Don't know what the original use for it was but I like it.
