Is this product basically the same as Versamark watermark ink pad but a different brand? Or does it offer something special that the Versamark does not have?

I’m new to card making and have not tried but would like to try heat embossing . So any additional info about the advantage of using this product would be greatly appreciated.   By: User (02-May-22) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Distress Embossing Ink is not the same formulation as Versamark Ink. Ranger does not make Versamark but yes, Distress Embossing Ink is meant for embossing powders. By: Ranger Ink (03-May-22) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

  • Is this clear embossing ink pad good for adding glitter or fine foil on? Can someone give me a clue on how to do it? I've got glitter and no way to put it on my pages or cards.   By: meezerpleaser (06-Sep-18) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • This product is for use with embossing powder. For your glitter, I would suggest a liquid glue. By: Joanie R (06-Sep-18) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

I am wanting to purchase a clear embossing ink pad for embossing with stamps and then painting with watercolors. Will this one be suitable for this purpose or would a pigment ink be better?   By: User (26-Jun-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. • You can use this! I have several different clear inkpads, I don't use this much to be honest. I just always choose my Versamark. For really detailed images I use my Versafine (black), never had any problems with that as long as I am quick with the powder! By: Siri Fjortoft (28-Jun-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you!
