Work: Web Developer
Bio: I'm married with two beautiful kids. My daughter was just diagnosed with a mood disorder (tentatively bipolar) and is now on medication and a special diet (the diet is WORKING!!!!) so hopefully our days filled with struggles will become days filled with laughter. My son is the most sensitive, lovable, sweet boy I've ever known, but he's still all boy!

For fun I snowboard whenever I can. I've been skydiving 3 times, hang gliding, learned to drive a motorcycle (but I pretty much just stick to my neighborhood), flown a plane, walked on a volcano, swam with the fishes, and some other stuff I just can't think of right now. I'm also in the middle of writing two books based on my real life.

I love art and being creative but I'm not nearly as good at it as I'd like. Writing and scrapbooking are an outlet for me but I definitely take my time with them so you won't find me cranking out layouts on a daily or even weekly basis....although I wish I could. Oh, and getting published, well, we'll see if I ever finish these books...

I love music and actually used to be in a little garage band back in high school. I learned the guitar and drums. I still mess around with the guitar on occasion -- dear hubby won't let me get a drum set. My daughter is taking piano lessons and hubby used to when he was a kid, so what the heck, I'm teaching myself Fur Elise.

I love photography but lack the knowledge to do something really great with it. Someday.

Friends and family are really important to me. I have a good heart and good intentions but I'm stuck in the body of a procrastinator so I have a pile of birthday cards that have never been mailed out.

Professionally, I'm a web application developer at a very small company and I love it. Who knew working for a small company could be so great? The not so great part: massive lack of sleep.

To sum up, I'm a great friend, a devoted and ever-improving mother, loving wife, developing writer, and aspiring photographer. I'm reserved, crazy, and fun, all rolled into one.

Oh, and in regards to scrapbooking -- I love getting comments and feedback. I took a 3-4 year break after my son was born and before that I only did a few LOs, so I'm still pretty new at this (although looking at the size of my paper stash, you'd never know it). ;-)
