Just to confirm the above answer. They were showing what the alphabet looked like not the actual die itself. It is one of those complete alphabets with the little metal connectors between the respective letters. The lower and the upper case dies are the same. It isn't as though you can't actually separate them yourself and leave them as individual letters... if that is your problem with it. I give it to my husband to separate since he's better with the metal nippers than i am, and he'll sand the edges so i don't get cut as well. In a lot of the new dies they do that and you have to cut them apart to get the dies to actually cut what is intended.
