Not as expected - but a good ink for regular stamping
I thought this would be good for silhouette type stamps. There were good reviews for this product online. It really did NOT fair as well with silhouettes (large solid areas). It does mottle and then kind of fills in - but I find it hard to get a really crisp impression in these cases. Hit & Miss. Versafine and Oxide inks have comparable and often better results - depends on paper etc.
But I don't want to have to fiddle around with a sensitive ink that needs certain conditions for this purpose. I also tried the Scrapbook.com hybrid ink for the same reason, which also did not do too well for my purpose. But it was not advertsied for this. I did a review.
What's good?
= Beautiful Colour - very pigmented
= It acts like a regular ink with regular stamps.
= It spreads well on paper for backgrounds
But I gave it 3-star, because it really doesn't perform in this solid stamping context, which I think is part of their marketing and it's not inexpensive.
However, it is good ink, if you just want to use it in a regular way. In such a case I would give it a 5-star
