They are double-sided. I guess you would have to pick which side you would want to color if you wanted to frame it. I have seen a lot of people do these up and they are nice, but if you want to frame it, don't color using felt tip markers, it does bleed thru the page. Coloring it in markers does make it more dramatic, but it will bleed thru the page. Guess it's up to you as to what effect you are looking for.
