The paper looks and feels like regular printer paper that you'd use at home. It's not especially thick and has no gloss or coating at all. There is nothing to which you can affix photos--no adhesive backs, stickers, or sheets with protective sleeves. I guess you're supposed to use a glue stick?
The entire book (all 28 pages) is really just printer paper with a pretty font and blue borders, all 3-hole punched in a binder. It looks like something I could design on MS Word in an afternoon.
Even the choice of wording is odd and lacks a professional feel: there's a spot for "Mommy's food quirks" (more typically known as "pregnancy cravings").
But what I really can't get over are the blank pages meant for photos, with nothing but a heading (e.g., "First Family Photo" or just "Photos") printed at the top. I don't know how you're supposed to feel comfortable putting photos on these plain sheets of paper knowing that there is nothing to protect them or keep them in place. Save your money: if this is what you want, go to Walmart or any office supply store, buy a pack of pretty printer paper and a binder, and design your own for half the price.
