This pen was recommended to me by a friend and has lived up to its reputation. It glides smoothly on mixed media projects. It writes on slippery glossy paper like perfection. I’ll admit, I even use it on plain cardstock because it writes so buttery smooth. Sometimes I use it to doodle in my art journal over layers of acrylic paint. Sometimes I use it on plain cardstock to journal about a layout. It’s versatile and tremendously useful. Definitely a staple in my craft room.
Won’t smudge with water. Would be good for journaling, definitely would write or doodle over acrylic & mixed media. Very dark black.

I've owned tons of pens and this is my fav hands down! Not only is it great for mixed media and art journaling etc but you may find yourself wanting to use it in your everyday life. Everywhere I went I would even say with this pen thanks but I have one! Of course I'd keep my eyes on it too so no one snuck off with it LOL... It lasts longer than your average pen and especially gel pens. You won't be disappointed... Well.... You may be disappointed if you don't buy more than one...
