If you aer using an ink on a layout and want the flower to match, put some reinker onto a plate & let the flower absorb the ink. For a less intense effect, add water to the ink to thin it and it will still be the same color, just not as bold.
you don't need to buy the reinker if you don't have it already. You can take a hard plastic object (like a credit card) and lightly scrape some ink off your pad you are using. But, keep in mind that is taking ink form your pad and will lessen the life of your pad and you'll need a reinker eventually :)

Oh and BTW, you can experiment with mixing colors like this too. It is best to test the colors on tiny squares of cotton like an old pillowcase or sheet in about 1" squares (or less) just to give you an idea of the color. :)
