I have a friend who just can't "get into" scrapbooking. I know, how crazy is that? Her professional wedding photos are in a safe album from her photographer, but she had quite a few snapshots from the wedding reception. I decided to give her a book of completed scrapbook pages with spaces to put her 4x6 wedding snapshots.
I used cardstock in colors from her wedding, did double-page spreads that coordinated, all with simple sticker or torn borders, and some with traditional wedding titles. She was thrilled to crop and mat her photos with coordinating cardstock (under my direction) and arrange them into layouts that flowed well and looked great. Even better, she had journaling boxes built into each page where she could jot down her feelings from the event.
It was a good way to scrapbook with a friend without intimidating her or expecting too much. This would work for a mother (or grandmother) of a new baby, a recent graduate, etc. Use your imagination and help others get their photos into a safe album with names, dates, and journalling.
