One of the benefits of working at Scrapbook.com is constantly being surrounded by inspiration. Scrapbook.com members are the best at sharing their creativity in the Gallery and linking to the products they used. Our members make it so easy for others to be inspired and find the amazing products they've used to create their masterpieces. Here at Scrapbook.com we are constantly wowed by the incredible projects that fill the Gallery and we want to share some of the projects that made our team stop and stare. So, we are starting a weekly feature on the blog to showcase layouts from the Gallery that made us sit up and take notice!
Our list this week includes ten amazing layouts incorporating different styles, techniques and designs. Without further ado, come put your feet up and join us for this week's Layouts We Love:
We love every bit of this layout by Lisa Swift from the mix of products to the fun design, but the amazing stitching is the aspect we couldn't get over, especially on the script, cut title!
This layout by Swirlydoos has a cool color palette and the textures from the distressed paper, modeling paste, flowers and bling add such amazing dimension!
We found this layout created by Valerie Huang perfectly adds a few simple elements to leave the stunning photo front and center.
Oh Melinda Spinks how we LOVE the curves and the mixture of epoxy, sequins and buttons!
Mixing big graphic patterns and using a tone on tone method to layer was expertly done by Laura Vegas here.
Many of us struggle with mixing lots of patterned papers, but Kelly Goree shows how awesome the results can be.
We were blown away by the total sweetness in this layout by ReneeZwirek. From the clusters of flowers and folded leaves to the precious photos, Easter doesn't get much cuter than this!
This 8.5 x 11 layout by Sashafarina totally jumped out at us, especially the cool die cut circle background and fun large title.
We chose this layout by JustLyn for its wonderful use of visual triangles. See the three circular elements (two Thomas the Train images and those cool railroad tracks) and three places using the color yellow (one patterned pennant, the title and the stars)? The triangles perfectly surround the repetition of three photos, which by the way, mimics the age of the birthday boy - genius.
Last, but certainly not least, we love the collage of black and white photos in this layout by Ashleyhorton010675. The pops of color really stand out against this mostly black and white layout.
