Questions for ATC makers

I've been making ATCs for a while, and love the things.

Problem is, for the longest time, I would only do a single copy of a card -- and once it was traded, all I had left was photos!

I've finally started doing limited runs, a minimum of two so that I have a copy to keep.

How does everyone else do it?

Do you do single editions of cards? Make multiple, identical cards? Or do a "series" run of similar but not quite identical cards?

Hi there! I just found out about ATC's last week, and I'm really excited to do some. I found the website and got the size requirements, etc., but wondered what types of things Other people do, and do they need to be thin, or can you use embellishments on them? I'd love any helpful hints you can provide! Blessings, CC

I've got a lot in my gallery. For me, I tend to wing it. I have some that are completely thin, just a few sheets of paper, and some that can almost stand up by themselves! There really are no limits -- after all, each one is an individual piece of "Art" -- so unless you're doing a trade or swap with specific rules, anything goes.

Just getting into the ATC thing too but I plan on making some that are just for friends that I'll just make that one so it is a OOAK (one of a kind), and some that I plan to swap and those I'll make one to keep for myself.
