Adhesive for flowers on cards

Thank you for the tips, everyone! I have started using some of the adhesives I already have in my stash such as glue dots, liquid glue, hot glue and Glossy Accents, and they are working like a charm!

I'm a newbie to posting here (joined a long time ago but a former Pea), and I'm one of the LOTV girls that uses lots of bumpy embellishments on their cards (I'm the "sentiment stamp and paper" girl on the team).

You've probably already found what works for you by now, but I'll add my two cents just in case. I use ATG runner to hold down my laces and ribbons (just run a thin line along the top of the lace/ribbon), spots of Glossy Accents for small, light items (like thin-stemmed leaf die cuts, etc); and MED TEMP hot glue (low temp doesn't work for me) to adhere my bulky flowers, clay frames, resin pieces, etc.

Since the cards we make for LOTV are all sent to them for use at trade shows, etc., the cards get a lot of handling. They're put out next to the stamps used on them for customers to see, handle, etc - so whatever we use on them has to be put there to last forever.

I like to use Glossy Accents or a glue dot.

Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue or Glossy Accents. Never had a problem with either of these two. Tombow dries really fast too.

Last week I was @Goodwill and found a 6 pack of CRAFTER'S PICK Fabric Glue $5.

It is now my go to glue. It works great and dries fast and is easy to apply a tiny bit or a lot.

For really small scrolly embellishments I still use my Zig two way glue pen.
I use a lot of floral embellishments on my cards
and love the way the Crafter's pick works.

If it's paper flower, I use Glossy Accents. If it's fabric flower I use a fabric glue.

when all else fails,,,,,,,hot glue works wonders!

I have used a tiny little pen tip size dot of e6000 for flowers and whatever... It will never ever come off! Good luck!

I will definitely try some of these suggestions....I did make my own glue dots and they seem to work pretty well.

Have you ever tried glue dots? I use the Fiskars brand and especially like using them when attaching flowers to cards.

I use Beacon Fabric glue for almost everything!

red tape is my go to!!

I use clear Tacky Glue bought from WM. It works great!

Try using this Beacon glue. I use it for all my embellishment and even alphabet stickers. So far it has never let me down and all my embellishments (include heavy metal ones) stays on my projects.

I use the Beacon 3-in-1 Advance Craft Glue.

I have made my own glue dots forever....and I haven't found anything they don't hold.

I wondered if the lace might stick if you used the vellum tape? I don't think it would show through. Also, the red tape seems to hold things really well.

I have fallen in love with Lily of the Valley stamps and the cards that their design team makes. When adhering all of those flowers, lace and other embellies, what type of adhesive would you use? I've tried different types like regular tape adhesive, hot glue and regular white glue, but nothing seems to keep the items down. Any help is greatly appreciated.
