I have two ctmh white stamp pads, one was a water based ink they came out with first , which was good but they now have a pigment ink white which is fabulos. I just got a martha s white ink pad which is pigment ink but i haven't tried it yet.

Where can you get the CTMH Daisy white pad?

You would need to order the stamp pad from a CTMH representative. I believe that there is a thread on here somewhere that lists all of the representatives and where they are located. You might be able to find a rep that lives near you so that you can try the pad out before you order one.

I have the STampin Up white ink pad and it works great on dark colors.

Me too. I have the SU white craft pad. It goes on wet but dries nice and bright on dark colors.

    I'll ditto this.

I use whisper white & very vanilla from SU...and like both.

I have used Stazon with some success, but b/c it takes a special cleaner to get it off my stamps, I don't use it often. I have used it at crops or parties, but not on my own.

I was really disappointed with the white staz-on, because I had read good things on the forums and it just didn't pop the way I expected. I decided my expectations were too high and I usually emboss with white embossing powder. I'll have to look into the CTMH and moonlight white... hmmm...

I just bought the MS white ink pad and i actually kind of like it. Idk if that helps. I just need a little something for my christmas cards and the price was right! lol

BTW, I should note that I got a white staz on pad but I think mine is defective. The images I get with it are not very bright and it keeps drying up even though I store it upside down and cover it right away after using it. When I told my scrap pals, they said that they didn't have any trouble with theirs and their images are nice and strong, even on dark paper. So, I guess try the staz on and if that is not enough contrast, maybe do the embossing???

That was my experience with the stazon white ink as well...actually...

What a great thread! I love the white on dark paper, but I haven't been thrilled with what I've been working with....now I have some new options to try! Thanks!

I don't have a white ink pad either. I just use white acrylic paint. Use a foam brush to apply it with and make sure to use a very thin coat-- always works for me and it's a heck of a lot cheaper than white ink!

Too funny! I was kind of wondering about that. I have used paint on stamps without issue, but not white paint. My ctmh seems so thick though that it reminds me of paint so I wondered the other day about it...

While I can't give you a suggestion for a white ink pad, I do think that you might have got embossing ink instead unless it says white ink pad on it or something similar. HTH!

Another vote for Stampin' Up! It comes out with a crisp white color even on a black cardstock.

I have the Close To My Heart white and it's awesome! Very good on dark colours. Same with their markers, I was very surprised that it wrote nicely on dark clours! Give them a try!

    Thank you all so much!

I thought the Staz On ink was for non porous surfaces...would that affect how well it does on cardstock? My Staz On white came with a re-inker and I have to add ink frequently, but I get pretty good results on the transparencies I've used with it.

I went through 3 pads before finding the brilliance "Moonlight White" by Tsukineko. I got the full size one at Archivers

It's the best by far and b/c it's slightly shimmery it shows up on dark CS alot better than most.

I actually have the moonlit white as well...here is a sample to show them next to each other. The moonlight actually does a bit better with finer details because the CTMH is so thick. However, this is a pretty light cs as is...if you use a very dark cs or especially anything with patterns...I find the moonlight gets lost in it. I personally prefer the CTMH, but had the other first... It didn't cut it for me on darker cs in my opinion.

The CTMH is the darker one (brighter..white? not sure what to call it...the one that pops is ctmh)... and the light one is the moonlight.

Close to my heart- White Daisy ink! All the way...it is the only one I have seen or heard of that actually WORKS! I have heard the white embossing suggestion too, but embossing is a pain to have to deal with just to get a white image.

The whale on this card uses the CTMH ink. Oh and I got the ink from another member of sb.com . Pm me and I will give you her info if need a consultant.

I have heard that Staz on is good for this, but the recommendation I've heard more frequently is to stamp and then wet emboss with white embossing powder.

I am sure this has been asked before but now I cannot find the topic about it. I bought a white stamp pad the other day. Last night I tried stamping with the white onto a dark blue cardstock and while you can see a stamped image there, it is very pale and certainly isn't white. Can anyone recommend a good white ink pad? Thank you in advance!
