I have 2 chipboard albums to make and now i'm a bit nervous about the modgepodge. I used it with my letter blocks and they were tacky for almost a month and i used an acrylic sealer and that helped.
When I lived in the south I had problems with modgepodge projects being tacky forever. I too used an acrylic sealer. Also, to get the bubbles out take a stick pin and poke into the hole. I tend to do it when it is still a bit damp, although it still works when it is dry. Then brayer over it and viola! no more bubbles. And because the holes are so tiny, you don't notice them.
