New Michaels ad

Ya know the junk mail you get every week? The bunch with all the grocery ads and goofy coupon books? The Micheals ad for next week (June was stuffed in the middle of this mess! I usually just walk from the mailbox to the trash can and dump the whole group, but luckily I saw the Michaels logo peeking out the top.

And guess what else? They will have the circut carts on sale for 40% off next week!!!!!

They didn't have them here in the Oregon ones
Maybe it will be in Saturday's paper

Ooo, I wonder if they are getting the "new" carts in??? I went by HL yesterday and the had some like the Home Accents. I REALLY want that one:) Thanks for the heads up:) Any other scrap goodies on sale??? I used to get the ad in my mail too, but haven't anymore. I always check, but no luck:(

I hope they do get the new ones in. I just ordered the Home Accents online..but I would really love to get Indie Art at a great price...

Mine was in the mail. I usually get my junk mail on Wednesdays. It's like a treasure hunt trying to find the silly ad!
Someone here mentioned a few weeks ago that they found their coupon (not a full ad) in the Sunday Parade magazine. Our Sunday paper has the USA Weekend, not the Parade, and I've never seen a coupon in it.
About once a month, our Sunday paper has the full Michaels ad.
Sometimes, I get a coupon emailed to me (twice, I think).

Usually if M's has a weekly ad you can view it online at their site. Just do a store search and when the store list comes up it says this stores ad...you can click on that to see the ad or it will tell you if it didn't have one.

I think I know what kind of mailer you're talking about. Ours usually has the Big Lots ad in it. I don't think I've seen one this week--maybe today.

I just checked Michaels online, and it says no weekly ad for our store.

I've learned that when you are paying for your purchase, if you ask if they'll have a Sunday ad, the will tell you no, but hand you a couple Coupons from their stack next to the register. Last week she handed me a WHOPPING 4 of them!!!

I was in Michaels on Monday and she told me that there would be an ad this Sunday.

We get a middle of the week local newspaper and the ad was in there. They are having tons of sales, plus I believe there's a 50 percent coupon as well.

Cricut cartridges are 40 Percent off.
Stamps and punches are 40 percent off.
You can get brads 3/$5.

I'm going off memory here because I took the ad home yesterday. Needless to say I've already taken the 40 percent off the stamp price ranges so I know what I'm looking at when I go.

Also the 40% off on stamps and punches are not good on Martha Stewart crafts, but the 50 percent off one regular item is.

There's a ton more stuff for $1, $3, and $5 as well.

I absolutely hate my area Michael's! I went in today when they opened - three associates just kind of looked at me and never said a word. I asked for help finding the Threading Waters punch - they said "No, we don't have it." No offer to call other stores or anything. The cashier (my mom bought the xyron little x) was unfriendly, and when I asked about having an ad next week, she responded "I have no idea." I really need to stop shopping there!

The most recent Scrapbooks, Etc. magazine has a Michael's coupon in it. I don't remember what page it's on (and I'm too lazy to find the magazine and check!).

If I remember correctly it's a narrow ad on a left page.

I found it - May/June 08 issue, page 18, 20% off entire purchase good thru June 30. Excludes sale items, Cricut, blah blah blah. Maybe they only printed the Coupons for certain areas of the country.

Oh...I was looking at the July issue because you said most recent. I have a subscription so I am sure I have that one around here too, but not sure where...

Can you find the magazine in stores? I haven't really looked, but I was wondering if it would be easy to find...

I just looked at the ad online. I didn't see a 50% off coupon for any one item; I did, however, see a 50% off a framing order though. Their sale is good enough this week I'm going to go see what I can get. HL's ad totally stinks, their stuff is only 30% off while M's is 40% off, $1, $3, and $5. Much better deals.

The 50% off coupon isn't viewable on the ad online...but when I went to my store today they had the 50% off coupon on the front of the page. I used it even thought I had a printed 50% off coupon in my purse...will save that for another day.

The punches are on sale for 40% off...they were sold out of the threading water one but I didn't have any of the border punches so I got the Fiskars Flower border punch...it looked really pretty and 40% off of that is nice!

They also FINALLY had the Fiskars refill blades style F in scallop!! You can bet I picked one of those up...the only other decorated one they had was the preforating and I am not a big fan of that...not sure what the point is??? Maybe for sewing on the paper???

Good buys but rude sales people...they irritate me. It seems that same old ornary man is at the checkout everytime I go!! He was nice ONCE to me but that was it!!

i got a new paper today and got there ad in there.

I went to Ms today with my 50 percent coupon. Picked another flyer up at the door and gave THAT 50 percent coupon to my DD. Had another 50 percent coupon for my DH as well. So we each used them! I love it when a plan comes together! I got several new stamps, punches, cards, card stock and my DD purchased a new Zen Garden set of papers for me. My DH purchased some long photo thingys he was looking at. All in all, under $100 spent by all 3 of us. Now I call that a great day of bargain hunting.

I am shocked I actually received my michaels coupon in email! I guess enough people complained about signing up for the newsletter and not getting anything!

I just came back from M's too. This place is going to run me broke:( They are getting so many new, cool things in. I got a tin of Primas with my 50% off coupon, 3 jars of Primas; called Fabric something or other ($5.99 each). They are gorgeous!!! 3 sets of Scrappy Cat clear stamps; they were 40% off ($2.99)!!! 12 sheets of MM embossed papers; vines, hearts, stars and flowers; these were 4 for $1 and two of the collage frames that were $3. I am going to alter those to hang in my scraproom:)I spent $45, but got lots of really great goodies at great prices.

I don't get squat from M's- no 20% off Coupons , no 25% off Coupons ! They need to do direct mailings like J's does! I prefer J's because their prices are lower than M's AND I have a 15% off on anything since I'm a teacher! M's is usually my last resort and J's is my first, Bev's is my second. I rarely go to Bev's since their stuff is WAY overpriced but sometimes they do have stuff I need that J's doesn't carry.
