Hey, where is everyone?

I slept in unintentionally today until almost 10am. My cell phone's sound is suddenly not working.
Thank God I have replacement insurance on it, although I think I have a $75 deductible.

hehehe, my phone is now fixed!!
After sitting on Tmobile phone support for a lil bit, they connected me to the phone insurance people to get a replacement. While I was waiting for someone to help me, I got curious and dropped my phone to the carpeted floor from about 6 inches off the ground and suddenly the sound worked again!

At least the humidity dropped. I may go swimming a bit later. Although a better idea is to take the lil guys swimming in the morning when they arrive before 9am.

Desi - if you can get an at-home transcription gig, that's a really good way to go. Just remember that "at home" doesn't free you from deadlines (sometimes very TIGHT deadlines). But if you need something that lets you set your own schedule, it's great. Everyone seems to think of medical transcription for this area, but remember that lawyers need transcriptionists, too. I did this for a year-and-some...transcribing legal depositions. I was able to type fast enough that it made decent $$ for me.

Cathy - for the ex. (Mark the date in red on the calendar, just to prove that he DOES have his moments.)

Heather - so does the new PT schedule mean you're doing better? Or is this the same you've had? As for the braces... And I'm going to bet your insurance - assuming it even covers dental - won't cover orthodontics because they're "elective." Right??

Heather - Ooohhhh...bagel bites. Haven't had those in awhile....

Marci - I'll add my vote for the Cuttlebug. LOVE mine. And now Ethan's getting to where he likes to use it, too. Very easy. The only problem I've had is that recently the handle feel off and I haven't yet found a screwdriver small enough to screw it back on. But you can still crank it...there's just not a nice handle that rotates as you go.

It is 3 a.m.

I am stuck at Kim's.

Kim is stuck at work.

One of the two ladies at the apartment where she works fell this evening, hit her head, blacked out. I'm not sure exactly what time this all happened...I've only barely talked to Kim twice and don't know all the details.

I do know that the lady REALLY needs to go to the hospital for a CT scan to make sure everything's OK. I know the lady HATES anything having to do with doctors. So right now she's refusing.

Paramedics have been called out there twice. Cops once.

AND NO ONE WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE ON-CALL FOR SITUATIONS LIKE THIS IS ANSWERING THEIR PAGERS!!!!!!

And the packet of emergency medical info for this lady, which has the medical consent form, IS MISSING FROM THE APARTMENT!!! (I'm guessing it was taken the last time she had a regular dr appointment and that person forgot to put it back in the apt.)

The midnight-8 person came in, but since they can't reach anyone ELSE, and assuming that at some point this lady will go to the hospital, Kim has to stay there to be with the OTHER lady in the apartment while the 12-8 person goes with the injured lady for the CT scan.

So she's getting no sleep. She may not get home until the 8 a.m. person comes in. Who knows how long Ethan will let her sleep once she's home?

I can't necessarily take him to my house for the day, because I have to sleep at some point so I can work tomorrow night.

UPDATE: Just talked to Kim. She's at the apt now with the 2nd lady. Injured lady and Midnight Person are at hospital. The girls got hung up on by the 911 folks because they had to call so many times for the ambulance to come out throughout all this (3 times) (cops twice).

Kim said she & Amber (Midnight person) had to do so much stuff tonight that could get them fired, including letting Injured Lady call her brother (which they're not supposed to do). I told her not to worry...they had to deal with the situation they had on their hands and they had no back-up. I also told her that if I was a family member and found out that the organization that was supposed to take care of my sister had so badly dropped the ball, I'd probably be thinking lawsuit.

Unfortunately, at the time it happened, Kim was the only one there. I told her this means they might try to make her the fall guy. Say she wasn't watching the one lady closely enough. (Hey, it was 10-to-midnight and she got up out of bed.) Kim said she was busy dealing with the other lady (who is REALLY needy/clingy) and she can only do so much with two of them and one of her in the place.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that if everyone doesn't get back from the hospital and Kim doesn't get back here by 5:00 or so, Jim will have to get up and call someone this morning to trade days wtih him for the carpool. It's his day to drive, but I'm stuck here with the car.

Did I mention that I napped earlier...right after I put Ethan to bed, because I'd shorted myself on sleep after getting home from work yesterday morning so I could get up and go see Harry Potter...and now I'm not sleepy at all? Wheeee!!!!!

Did you see that Provo craft has new carts there are a few but they have batman and superman and an Elmo cart. They also have a calendar cart.

Thinking I'll need all those too. Geoff isn't into Batman and Superman yet (Wish it was Spiderman because he loves Spiderman) but I'm sure that's coming.

Me too. My BFF lives 30 minutes away and has a Cricut but she does digital scrapbooking now so she doesn't use her Cricut.

Sounds like she needs to let her carts come and have workout time at your house...hehe

Good afternoon ladies. Got sent home today because the boss said I was spreading germs around. In his defense, I was coughing all over everything. Thinking about doing some scrappin. I'm trying to make a baby blanket for my husband's cousin, she's adopting a little boy, but I dunno if I should since I'm sick. I do have to make a card to go with it though.

I have a QuicKutz, my Grandmother gave me it for my birthday one year. I only have one die for it though because I haven't had a chance to buy more. I like it, but since it only has one die right now I've only used it a couple times. I'm thinking about getting a cuddlebug.

My dad has an appointment in Feb with the neurologist. Sucks that it's so far away but it was the soonest they could get him in.

My sister has and MRI scheduled and has an appointment with an Endocrinologist. She's doing fine but the doctor wants to find out exactly what's going on.

I like how easy it is to cut out the disney characters. They have them already separated and I like that. I also like the look of the paper dolls (I do have paper dolls for my craft robo but like the ones on Cricut a lot more). It's easy for the kids to help with, Brian too. They push the cut button under extreme parental supervision. They can't do anything but help pick out cuts on the craft robo.

I honestly use my craft robo more but like that the Cricut there for bigger cuts and for cuts that I may not have in my 1,000's of files for my craft robo.

I will also tell you Cathy I'm a gadget junkie. Brian is worse than me and is trying to talk me into buying a machine that will cut 12x12 (Which is what my Expression does) for my computer. I contemplated the slice as well but I'm happy with the machines I have.

Love the waterfall cards. I'm scared to make one.

For my husbands I just used a blank card I got at Joanne's ages ago. I cut different sizes of pp and arranged them like a collage for the blue and green parts in the bg. I used the blue cat's eye chalk ink thinger on the top and the green on the bottom to make it more uniform and kinda textured. I think it made the blue look like clouds. I then used a baseball and baseball player stamp. Colored in the baseball with my prisma color pencils.

Hello ladies sorry it's been so long. My computer is still brooken but by me losing my job i can come up to the college more often and talk to you all. I know i have missed out on so much. I am still holding on baby and i are doing fine. I haven't had her yet. I miss yall so much.
