monthly Scrapbook kits

I am thinking about subscribing to a monthly scrapbook kit, but there are so many to choose from. Any suggestions?

I love the Mosh Posh kit, I've been a subscriber since April, and it totally rocks!

hi! my mom got me a 6 month mosh-posh subscription...i loved it..lots of fun stuff in there..

right now i am debating on which one to join myself...i have narrowed it down to 2 clubs..

bad girls kit club-which does vintage shabby supplies
or little red scrapbook- which also has a monthly kit subscription for stamps,ribbon and embellishments all matching the monthly regular kit and all shipped together.

i would LOVE to join both :o) i mean do we really NEED car insurance??? lol

a friend of mine really started getting AC Bailey and really likes them. she didn't like storytellers, but I think that's because alot of stuff was geared towards scrappin children, and she doesn't.

But I will say, it really depends on how and WHAT you scrap!

It all depends on your style and what you like.. I would look around and check out their past kits, etc. I, myself, love Mosh Posh; and I have been getting them since last Nov or Dec. I also get Scrapbook Deals 4 U. I love theirs too. They are both very different.. but I really like them both.

I would definitely agree that it totally depends on your own style & tastes. I just joined My Creative Scrapbook after spending alot of time looking at different monthly kits, and their previous months kits. You should google monthly scrapbook kits, and do some investigating to see which ones fit your own style the best. Good luck!

I like Mosh Posh for the price. If I had a bigger budget I would go with Scarlet Lime or Swirlydoos, but I just don't want to dedicate that much of my monthly budget to a kit right now. I have also received Mosh Posh since April and I have been really happy with every month.

I looked at your gallery (great, btw) and you may want to take a look at Jenni Bowlin's kits. They were the first kits I've gotten and I love them!

I have purchased Jenni Bowlin, I was happy with that, now I am on the waiting list for Bad Girls. Hopefully I will get the September kit. I really wanted a kit that has a lot of product due to our local LSS closing. So it's back to shopping online.

I really like Mosh Posh and Queen Kats. They are really pretty and have lots of stuff. I have never gotten the Scrapbooking from the inside out kits, but they look amazing too.

I like Noel Mignon kits because you do not have to subscribe. The new one is coming out August 24. Scarlett Lime or Apron Strings Designs are really good kits as well.

I looked up some of these kits and you girls are right! These are some amazing kits! Thanks for the info!

I just joined SEI club kit and so far their kits are reasonable and the paper is gorgeous!!!!! I joined when I went to Valley Forge CKC!!!!!

One that I really like - even though I don't yet have a subscription - is Kraft Girl Kits!

Um...how do you sign up for these things? and what exactly is it? And how did I not know about this!? LOL

You go to the website's and usually there will be a link to click join....after reading and getting all your questions answered of course, like how much and what you get, etc.....all the rules....

I have had subscriptions to One Page at a Time and Club Scrap. Both were great.

Ummm....not necessarily. I misunderstood the question I guess. I don't think all manufacturers have monthly kits and/or operate a "kit club". I think if you google monthly scrapbook kit clubs you will see a list of all or most that exist. From there you can view their site.

check out this website if u have a bit of time, u can browse through the top 50 diff scrapbooking kits sites.. its helped me narrow down to about 10 sites! lol.. still deciding. my ultimate fav is bad girls kit but its way out of my price range, my second and 3rd fav r swirlydoos and serendipity scrapbooks... wish me luck choosin!

I just got my first kit from Swirlydoos yesterday and it's gorgeous!!!! And the price is not too bad either. It's filled with really great things.

I will toss out there that I have purchased a few Bad Girls kits, imo, they are WAY too expensive for what you get.

Swirlydoos is amazing! Great stuff, awesome addons, good prices too!

The next time I subscribe to one, it will be Label Tulip - I've LOVED my friend's kits that I've seen at crops - very usable, very "me" & tons of great stuff at good prices!!

ETA I also still love Club Scrap for their GORGEOUS, high quality, artsy & unique paper. But when I've subscribed before, I got the paper only & ordered the extras (stamps, embellies, tools) on an as-needed basis, as their extras can get a little theme-specific.

I have seen some Label Tulip los and they look good!

My friend's Studio Calico kits also look great & she LOVES those. Oh man, all of you are enablers!

I've checked out some of the kits listed here and most are above my pocketbook though I may try ordering a kit a month from several different places to see if I like and will use the stuff they include. From what I've seen I think I'll be better off just doing my own thing.

The LSS I go to sell monthly kits for about $10 but so far I've never seen one I liked enough to actually fork over the money for. I'd love to hit their money saving class that's held monthly on Monday but since I've got my 3 yr. old granddaughter that day I'm outa luck. I'm going to see if I can contact the lady that teaches the class to find out if I can buy her sketches and supply list for less than the cost of the class. I like her L/O's and her supply list not only tell you what you need and how many of each it give paper cutting directions and the sizes of the stuff. All you have to do is go down the list, pick the cardstock and patterened paper you want to use and cut to the suggested sizes then follow the sketch to do the layout. I took the class in July, she was gone in August, and I've used the sketches at home for 3 other two page L/O's. I have the little bit of leftover cardstock and patterned paper in my scrap envelope to use on either another layout or on a card I make.
