I need a good set of pens - mainly for journaling and I would like a variety of colors.

What do you use? What brands are considered the best? I would love recommendations please!

zig writers was one of the first journaling pens/markers i was given when i first started scrapbooking that i still use today , they come in lots of colors. i also like american crafts for black or white journaling.

I like the Pigma Micron by Sakura..I get the size 05 for a very fine tip. It comes in different colors

I like the zig pens. The glitter markers that I recently purchased from American Crafts were garbage. The ink does not flow well and some of them were dried!

I second this opinion. The White Signo is great if you want white ink.

I also vote for AC's Slick Writers and I also love the fine point Sharpies.

AC slick writers for vellum, glossy paper, Zig for regular writing, hate Micron (too fine) but the colors are cute if you have slower handwriting speed, hate galaxy markers (shiny hard to read, even medium point is too fat), want to desperately try the Signo white pen since all I hear are raves!

I EK Success Zig Pens and Copics -- I have these in black and brown in several diameters. I also love the uni-ball signo for white.

I love my Creative Memories pens, and I also like the micron pens. I have a set of microns that I keep just for writing in my journal.
