Cricut cartridge storage

How do you all store your cartridges? I purchased a storage binder that is supposed to hold 8 cartridges and their overlays. I'm not sure if this is the best solution for the cartridges that come with the little spiral that includes tips on how to create certain designs. What do you all think?

I did the same thing and I have four of those and have to keep the binders in another container. Not very effective storage solution....your right!
I saw on the Scraproom/Storage section where someone has added velcro to the carts and have stuck them on a large piece of plexiglass which I believe is attached to the wall and has stored the overlays and binders upright together (each set together) in a plastic box/w lid large enough to hold them all and has them indexed with tabs with the name of the carts in file folder style.
That's going to be the way I'm going to try storing mine....so it's easier to use....so hopefully I start using them!
I'm also going to tear out all of the foreign language sections in the binders too....I know, it will possibly hurt resale value, but I'm probably never going to sell them anyway.
What I REALLY need is a Cheat Cheat of all the cuts each cart does on one page for each cart so I can easily flip through it to see.
THAT would most likely make me be inspired to use my Cricut more! Good luck!!!

I absolutely LOVE my Cricut cartridge storage. This revolving tower (actually made for CD's) stores 28 carts on each of the 2 sides (total of 8 shelves). As you can see, I keep my carts in their boxes. The little drawer unit it's standing on isn't a part of the tower - just something I already had. I got the tower from CDRackem. The whole thing only takes up about a foot square floor space. If you don't have that many carts (I have 49), you can use the extra shelves to store your other supplies.

well I put mines in a photo box I have them with the books and overlays, I need them all together lol! this works great for me, I have had it like this since feb and find I use my carts more and put them away more.. hth

Also i have room to grow just get a second box, easy peasy! and inexpensive

I store mine on a peg board with velcro on the back. The booklets and overlays are in a drawer in alphabetical order....my pictures didn't upload but there are pics in my gallery. Very efficient and space saving....

It still didn't work...I think because I didn't embed the files.

That photo box idea is a great one.

I have about 10 carts so I just got 2 jukeboxes and keep them hooked up at all times.

I used the bottom of storage bin of one of the jukeboxes to hold the spiral binders and insert sheets.

They sell these in the Superstore, which I've since spotted many ladies using!

Though if I remember correctly, there are bigger types with snapping/locking handles/with dividers that you can manage to get more carts stored in.

I'm thinking that if you can't find these types of containers, then you could look at either office supply stores & or keep an eye out during the holidays for Christmas ornament type containers.

I have my storage solution for my carts in my gallery. I have over 50 carts and they do become bulky. I used the clear envelopes from Office Depot and love them. I store the extra boxes in my crawl space. I also have the Gypsy and that by far is the best storage- just a tad bit expensive.

I have http://scrapbookfarm.com/cricut-totes-and-bags/cgull-cricut-cartridge-tote-bag-black-w/white-dots/prod_239.html bag. I got it for way less than that, but I love, love, love it. It will hold up to 72 carts. and I put the books and overlays in the middle inside pocket.

This is how i do mine- not my original idea either, i like that everything is kept in the same spot. What i dont like is when i get new carts i have to take out and move around to keep them alphabetical. I am kinda liking the photo box system above a bit better! I would love to just have a drawer next to my machine where i could just file them there.
